Pete
Jacobsen RIP... Although not exactly a household name Pete was nonetheless one of the most respected and talented keyboard players this country has ever produced. He had played on all of Lee Hodgsons GTCD country sessions here at WM Studios as well as the track Funk-Orona that Lee composed for the Fret-King guitars 2001 compilation CD and that was produced by Phil. Over
the years Pete also played many Jazz gigs with him and he'd had high
hopes of working with him in the future. His passing is a real loss to this countrys musical community. We would like to offer our sincere condolences to his family; he will be greatly missed |

Club, Oxford Street, London This exclusive showcase for EMI featured Lee Jackson and Brian Davison from Emerson's legendary forerunner to ELP 'The Nice' and is the first time in over 30 years that 'The Nice' have performed in public. Phil traded solos with Emerson on the classic numbers 'America' and 'Rondo' which received rapturous applause from the audience. |
